Ervaar Kuns

Kunsvereniging Stellenbosch het op 29 Maart 2006 ontstaan uit die Kunstenaarskring van Stellenbosch om te voldoen aan die behoeftes van nie alleenlik kunstenaars nie, maar ook van nie-kunstenaars regoor die Wynlande wat in visuele kunste belangstel.

The association hosts two annual members’ exhibitions. The first is a curated exhibition held in June, while the second is an uncurated mini exhibition held in September. Both exhibitions are held at the PJ Olivier Art Centre.

Several talks are hosted throughout the year, featuring artists and art experts as speakers. If there’s a topic you’re interested in learning more about, please share it with us. We aim to keep the talks engaging and relevant for our members.

Werksessies

We’ve hosted a variety of workshops and courses, with each workshop tailored to meet the specific needs of our members.

Afslag

We have partnerships with select art supply stores to offer discounts to our members. Simply present your Art Association membership card at the checkout to receive your discount on art supplies.

Uitstappies

Art appreciation excursions to art museums or artist studios.

SANAVA MEMBERSHIP

Membership with the South African National Association for Visual Arts, the umbrella organization for visual arts in South Africa.
