The Arts Association Stellenbosch cordially invites you to a talk about her art residency in Paris by Marlene and Max von Dürckheim on Wednesday 6 July 2022 at the Hofmeyr Hall in Church Street, Stellenbosch.
“Paris for us was an inspiration in herself. Here we experienced and assimilated all her abundant gifts. The Cité and SANAVA gave us the opportunity to live there for 2 1/2 months and gave the time and space to give to my work intensely, inspired by the city and especially the Seine which is the life giving soul of Paris. Paris is a city so old and yet so young, constantly growing, she is “eternal”. She is the reflection of the endeavour of humankind.” – Marlene and Max von Dürckheim
